Introducing Paul!

Introducing our newest member of staff Paul also known as the bearded wonder! Paul is a jack of all trades and has been employed by Tirohanga Camp one day a week to help with work around the Camp including maintenance, gardens, lawns and just about everything else!

With Paul's help the camp is looking fantastic and bigger projects around the Camp have been able to be achieved.

Thanks Paul for everything you do!

A new playing field has been extended upon the entrance of Tirohanga Camp. What was originally a deer-fenced paddock is now open for groups to make better use of Tirohanga's open space's!

The final work on Tirohanga Camp's newest multi-purpose building is being completed. Thanks to the help of many hands, Tirohanga has a brand new lounge fitted with a heat-pump to keep groups warm over winter. The lounge is great for hosting smaller groups and compliments Tirohanga's already existing Hall.

As well as the lounge, the new block also comes equipped with a paraplegic toilet and shower as well as a new laundry and drying room. Great for getting clothes dry on a wet day.

Groups are already making good use of the new outdoor sink area (ideal for vegetable prep and cleaning bigger pots) as well as the cosy lounge. One last cleaning cupboard is set to be finished with doors going in and once that's completed the entire project will be finished!
